Meet Kimberly!
Kimberly N. Boone Johnson, LMHC, LCPC, LPC is the founder and CEO of Mental Chatter, LLC. Kimberly has been in the field of mental health, addiction, and wellness for 22 years. She is a licensed clinical therapist, certified master life coach, business coach, author and speaker. She developed this company because of her dedication to serve those in need and her desire to bring more education and awareness around mental health and wellness and to make an impact whenever and wherever she could.
In her clinical work, Kimberly is clinically trained to treat and assess various mental health disorders. Kimberly specializes in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, family dynamics, life adjustments, career, marital/relationship issues, as well as, addressing spirituality and cultural issues through individual, couples, family and group counseling sessions. Kimberly has experience working with individuals from all age groups, as well as, various ethnic, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds. Kimberly believes in treating the whole person and feel that we are connected through our mind, body, and spirit.
As a certified master life coach, Kimberly aims her focus on mindset work. Branded as the "Mindset Strategist," she works with women of faith to help them uplevel their lives by teaching key mindset strategies that will allow them to show up confidently in all areas of their lives. Kimberly brings a unique experience to her coaching in that she combined her clinical expertise, coaching skills and spiritual principles to create an effective assessment tool to help you overcome mindset deficits. While working with Kimberly, you will gain the tools necessary to develop a permanent mindset shift so that you are no longer a prisoner of your negative thoughts or bound by your limiting beliefs. Kimberly has coined the phrase, "I think, I feel, I do," because she recognizes that our thoughts greatly influence our emotions and our behaviors.
Kimberly has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Kimberly is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Leadership from Fielding Graduate University. She obtained all of her coaching certifications from Transformation Academy. Kimberly is a wife and mother and loves spending time with her family and traveling.
